Timnath Character

“Alone we can do so little; together we can do so much.”  Helen Keller

At Timnath Middle‐High School, fostering strong character traits within our school community is at the core
of ensuring that all feel valued for the unique strengths and characteristics that they bring to ourschool. We
believe in the power of healthy relationships, which starts with a belief that all people deserve to be treated
with dignity and respect. On our journey of self‐discovery and character development, we value and invest
in the following characteristics:

Curiosity ‐ We desire to know and learn about our world.
Compassion ‐ We care deeply for each other and want good things for those in our
community. We treat each other with dignity and respect.
Courage ‐ We are willing to take risks in our journey to learn at high levels, and we support others
in trying new things with a growth mindset.
Connections ‐ We collaborate, learn from one another, and value each other’s point of view.
Integrity ‐ We do what is right, even when no one is looking.
