Born and raised in Fort Collins, I’ve always had a passion for education and supporting diverse learners. I earned my Bachelor's degree in Special Education from the University of Northern Colorado and later went on to complete my Master's in Education with an emphasis on Low-Incidence Disabilities from Southwestern College. Now entering my eighth year of teaching, I’ve had the opportunity to work in three different school districts and four different schools, gaining valuable experience with a wide range of secondary students with varying needs. Outside of the classroom, I love spending time with my family—my husband, our two sons, and our four cats. I also enjoy getting creative with crafts and projects, as well as unwinding with a good board or card game.
