Alex Anaya is in his 15th year of teaching Physical Education and Health at the secondary level. He started his teaching career at a high school in Flagstaff, Arizona, after he graduated from Northern Arizona University. He previously taught at Kinard Middle School before becoming a Timnath Cub. He received his Master's Degree in Educational Leadership from Southeastern Oklahoma State University.

Mr. Anaya is thrilled to be a part of the Cub Family, teaching the high school Athletic Weights, FRCC Weights II, Health & Wellness, Integrated PE, and Adventure PE. He is also the Head Baseball Coach for Timnath.

Beyond teaching and coaching, Anaya enjoys spending time with his beautiful wife Taylor and kids Baylee and Austin in any outdoor capacity from camping, hiking 14ers, swimming, snowboarding, hunting, fishing, trail running with his dog Brew, and barbecuing with his friends and family.
