Nick Baltzell

High School Social Studies Teacher
Work Based Learning Coordinator

Nick has been a teacher in PSD for 13 years. He has taught several Social Studies courses including World History, World Geography, Current World Affairs, Psychology, and Economics. He also taught Introduction to Entrepreneurship, Design Thinking, and Project Management at Futures Lab. He graduated from Colorado State University with a B.A. in History & Secondary Social Studies Education and received a Master's degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in Educational Psychology. He enjoys sports (was a long time Football and Track Coach at Fort Collins High School), fishing, coffee, going to concerts, and taking naps whenever his newborn son allows it.

Nick is currently teaching Economics, World Geography, Cub Leadership, and 7th Grade Blueprint and serves as TMHS' Work Based Learning Coordinator.
