I am originally from Texas but have lived in Colorado for the past 21 years.   I moved up to the mountains for a more active healthy lifestyle.  I met my amazing husband, Rob, and have 2 beautiful children and 2 loveable fur babies.  We decided to move to Fort Collins and have been here since 2010.  We love all that Colorado has to offer.  My family and I love to camp, 4 wheel, hike, mountain bike, paddle board, and play multiple sports, especially volleyball.

I received my Bachelor of Science Degree, with a Specialization in Reading and Kinesiology, from Stephen F. Austin State University while playing on a Volleyball scholarship.  I begin working for the YMCA as the Sports Director for all youth and adult sports and the Outreach Program., but my desire was to teach.  So I began teaching 5th grade while coaching volleyball, basketball, and track at the high school level.  I then started teaching Physical Education while coaching these sports but also adding cheerleading.  When I moved to the mountains, I taught elementary Physical Education at Breckenridge Elementary School.  I also taught Kindergarten at Summit Cove Elementary School.  I then took time off to raise my two beautiful girls.  When we moved to Fort Collins, I started working at Riffenburgh Elementary School as the Physical Education teacher.  I moved grade levels and began teaching at Preston Middle School and was there for the past six years teaching Physical Education and Health.  During this time, I started teaching Boot Camp for fun and now own my own Fitness Business.  I love instilling and teaching healthy habits not only for kids but adults as well.  In addition, I founded a developmental volleyball club team, Colorado Impact Volleyball Club, to give girls another opportunity to play volleyball around  Northern Colorado.  I am very fortunate to now call Timnath Middle-High School my new home.  I am excited to be part of this supportive and involved community.  I'm looking forward to working for our amazing administration team and my Physical Education and Health team.  Timnath has so much to offer our students to help them become better learners and humans.  I will enjoy seeing our students grow into smart, positive young adults!  I want to teach them to make healthy habits that will last a lifetime!  GO CUBS!
