Tara Wangen is the Office Manager who helped open Timnath Middle-High School. She values the partnerships with our students, parents, staff, and the community as we collectively create a culture that ensures high levels of learning in addition to belonging as a Cub. 

Tara is a proud Iowa State University graduate in Dietetics. Go Cyclones! She worked as a Registered Dietitian in Minnesota and at Pillsbury for the product development team for Hungry Jack Breakfast prior to having the privilege of staying at home taking care of her children. During her time at home raising her family, she spent countless hours volunteering at Bethke Elementary School, Kinard Middle-School and Fossil Ridge High School. The transition to working full time within PSD was a natural way to continue the connections she had as a volunteer. 

Outside of school, Tara loves spending time with her family. She has been married to her wonderful husband, Brett for 26 years. They have three amazing children: Tyler who is finishing his master's degree in psychology from Abilene Christian University; Cody, a senior at Baylor University; and Ava, a sophomore at Point Loma Nazarene University. They enjoy traveling, hiking, playing games and watching all sporting events together when all their school schedules align.
