Stacy Elder is a Math Educator and the Head Boys Golf Coach at Timnath Middle High School. Stacy is a PSD graduate who feels grateful to be a part of a district that had a significant role in her education. Stacy chose to go into teaching math to support students in being successful when things may get hard. She believes that everyone has the potential to learn math and she is consistently looking for different strategies to help students find that success. This is Stacy’s 12th year as an educator. Her teaching experience began at Boltz Middle School where she taught 7th grade math, 8th grade math, 8th grade Algebra, and Geometry. Stacy enjoys supporting students in and outside of the classroom. She also has several years of experience of coaching basketball and golf. Stacy earned her undergraduate degree from Colorado State University and has her Master’s Degree in Secondary Math Education from the University of Northern Colorado. Outside of school, Stacy loves to be on the golf course or on the lake with her family.
