Kelsey Cockrell is a counselor at TMHS and the head middle school cross country coach. This is her fifth year as a school counselor, having previously worked in Jeffco Public Schools before moving to PSD. Kelsey received her undergraduate degree from Texas A&M University and her masters degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling with a certificate in School Counseling from Denver Seminary. 

Kelsey believes in meeting students where they are, exactly as they are and walking alongside them in their journey through middle and high school. Kelsey loves being a cub and working at Timnath!

Outside of school Kelsey enjoys cooking, reading on a porch, a good cup of coffee, gravel biking, watching soccer, being on a river, fly fishing and hanging out with her dog Lady and her husband James who also teaches at Timnath and coaches boys and girls high school soccer.
