Melanie Ramey

6th Grade Math Teacher

Dr. Melanie Ramey is a 6th math teacher at Timnath Middle High School. She loves teaching middle school math and working with middle school students to improve their math skills. This will be Dr. Ramey's ninth year as a teacher and second year in PSD. Dr. Ramey earned her Masters in Urban Education from the University of Denver, where she also earned Dual Bachelor’s Degrees in Women's Studies and Digital Media Studies (i.e. 3D Animation & Web Design). She then went on to earn a Doctorate in Education from CSU with a focus around fostering intrinsic motivation in middle school students in mathematics. On the weekends Dr. Ramey enjoys spending time with her husband and four kids, kayaking, hiking, watching movies, playing games and doing puzzles. She is very excited to continue on into this year as a part of the Timnath middle school team. Go Cubs!!
