Hello Cub Families!

I'm very excited to be a part of the vibrant learning community we're building here at Timnath. I love working here with all of our wonderful staff and students; it's been a wonderful place to plant my roots and grow my family, including bringing my sweet baby to our clubs (he loves my students, too!).

I'm primarily a writing instructor, and FRCC Comp is my home and my love. Helping students develop their rhetorical thinking to become better communicators is my jam. I have a Masters of Arts in Rhetoric and Composition and a Masters of Education in Secondary Education Science. I worked previously as Assistant Director at CSU's Writing Center and continue to support CSU professors with their research as a side job, so I have a lot of experience with writing across academic disciplines up through the professional level.

I absolutely love getting to help writers across so many different academic disciplines and genres. I have a particular expertise in applications: resumes, cover letters, and personal statements for college, which are my favorite things to help students develop.

If you have any questions about the cool things your student is learning and creating, please don't hesitate to reach out! The best way to contact me is via email. If you'd like to have a conversation, the fast way to coordinate that is to email me so we can schedule a time to chat.

Thanks for sharing your kiddos with us!

All the best,
Lilly Halboth
