Gifted and Talented Site Coordinator, National Junior Honor Society Sponsor, Quiz Bowl Coach

Kristin Fernandez serves as the Gifted and Talented Site Coordinator at Timnath Middle High School. She is passionate about helping students discover their unique gifts and talents, build confidence, and grow both academically and personally.

Kristin earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education and her Master’s Degree in Curriculum and Instruction and Educational Administration from New Mexico State University.

She and her husband, Eric, live in Timnath with their three active sons. When she’s not at school, you might find her reading a great book, lacing up her skates for a hockey game, or heading outdoors to hike, camp, or explore new places. Most weekends, she’s cheering from the sidelines at her kid's many hockey, soccer, football, or baseball games.

Kristin loves being part of the Timnath Middle High School community and enjoys connecting with students and families. She believes every student’s unique gifts, passions, and interests are the keys to building a future they are excited about.
