I was born and raised in the outdoors of Southwest Colorado and have a deep love for the mystery of mountains. My perfect day includes riding my mountain bike, unicycling, snowboarding, paddle boarding, spending time with my family, or reading a good book. My passion for learning percolates into all aspects of my life and my heart is full as long as I'm sharing my love for education. I completed my B.S. in Biology, at Fort Lewis College, as well as my teaching credentialing. Afterwards, I taught Physics, Biology, and Human Anatomy at Animas High School, a project-based charter school in Durango, CO. After learning we were expecting, my husband and I made the move to the Front Range to raise our little one. I chose Timnath Middle High School because I align with the values here and appreciate the push towards equitability with the 4 point grading system. When I'm not in the classroom you can find me with my life partner, Skyler, our daughter, Opaline, and our cat, Max.
