This is Kaitlyn's first year at Timnath, and she's excited to be teaching Biology and Earth Systems Science. She recently moved to Fort Collins from southeast Louisiana, where she earned her bachelor’s degree in Liberal Arts with a concentration in Scientific Inquiry from the Louisiana Scholars' College. She then went on to receive her teaching certificate through Northwestern State University. She began her teaching career in Louisiana, where she taught Chemistry for three years, and later taught 6th and 7th grade science for one year in Estes Park.
Outside the classroom, she enjoys going to the movies, playing card and board games, and playing pickleball with her husband. Her personal hobbies include reading, crafting, and puzzling. She is thrilled to join the Timnath community and share her passion for science with her students!
