Kyla Walker

Kyla Walker is a passionate and experienced Social Studies teacher at Timnath Middle High School (TMHS), bringing over 20 years of teaching expertise to the classroom. Her career spans middle school English and history, as well as high school AP Human Geography, World History, and U.S. History. Kyla is committed to helping students make meaningful connections between the past and the world they live in today.

She holds a B.S. in English Secondary Education from Ball State University and is currently completing her M.A. in U.S. History at Gettysburg College, with graduation expected in December 2025.

Outside of school, Kyla is a proud mom to two teenage daughters. She enjoys spending time outdoors walking her dogs, skiing, and gardening. She also loves reading, cooking, and connecting with friends and family.
