Chris Bergmann is an Assistant Principal and also leads the Timnath Navigators environmental leadership group. Before joining the Timnath team, Chris spent 17 years as a science teacher, administrator, and coach at Kinard Middle School. Previous to Kinard, Chris taught physics and earth science in the Jefferson County School District at Wheat Ridge High School. Chris has earned a Bachelor's Degree in Biology and Natural Sciences from Colorado State University. He most recently completed his Master's Degree in Educational Leadership from CSU. Outside of school, Chris enjoys spending time with his family. He and his wife Angela have lived in Fort Collins for over twenty years. His time at home is spent chasing in the footsteps of his curious and energetic daughters Aubrey and Kendall. Chris is a Colorado native who grew up in the rural town of Craig, Colorado. He was raised in a family of educators. Both his mom and dad committed their careers to public education. When Chris is not on the job at Timnath, he enjoys spending time outside in beautiful Colorado. He likes hiking, camping, fishing, and photography. He also enjoys playing sports, strumming his guitar, writing/producing music, traveling, exploring new technologies, spending time with his dogs, and still finding ways to celebrate the fact that the Chicago Cubs actually won the World Series in 2016! Chris is committed to helping all students and staff at Timnath strive to reach their maximum potential.
